Hey Reader,
would you agree that food photography doesnât always go as planned?
Well, Iâve learned throughout the years that you have to be prepared to change things as you shoot, because rarely does everything fall into place.
It also got me thinking about all the BTS videos in Food To Frame and why they were so much fun to record (and, according to my students, also exciting to watch).
Itâs because I donât cut out parts when things are not working.
Instead, you see the actual process of how I work and how I adjust.
Today, I wanted to share with you a few photos we shoot inside the course together. With all the ups and all the downs. Because you learn even more from the downs.
So here are only a few shots that you can get to see created inside Food To Frame:
â If you pulled up a chair in my studio on shoot days, youâd see me make all the messes, splashes, splatters, and crumbs on the floor.
Thatâs what the BTS inside Food To Frame feels like (maybe you donât see the crumbs on the floor, but you can sense them đ
). You get to sit right there with me during styling demos, lighting experiments, composition breakdowns, editing sessions (with raw files so you can follow along), and even one full shoot from the very first idea to the finished photo.
So if youâve ever wished you could watch over my shoulder and see how I bring my vision to life, thatâs exactly what youâll find inside Food To Frame.
